Professional status:
Graduates of the biology studies at the Faculty of Natural and Technical Sciences, specialization in teaching biology with geography, are expected to have:
– a thorough knowledge in the fields of biology, geography and environmental protection,
– preparation to independent research work,
– qualifications to teach biology and geography in schools and other educational facilities in accordance with binding ministerial regulation on educational standards for the profession of a teacher.
Graduates in the major of biology, specialization in teaching biology with geography, can find employment in research and scientific units, laboratories, educational facilities, state administration offices (e.g. environmental protection departments), industrial plants, etc.
