Course objectives (cele)
The course has the objective of providing an introduction to the Spanish language, developing language competence in speaking, writing and understanding of spoken Spanish at B2 level.
Course content (treści programowe)
1. Culture and art - the role of festivals and traditions in the modern world, art (fine arts, cinema, theatre, ballet, music) as a way of documenting life.
2. Major threats to our planet - developments in science and technology and their impact on present and future generations.
3. Ecology - in the world of animals and plants the problem of protecting the environment.
4. In the world of emotions - expressing and describing emotional states.
5. Society - social roles, development of society (review of eras), contemporary social problems.
6. Use of past tenses : Preterito Perfecto, Imperfecto, Indefinido, Pluscuamperfecto.
7. Use of future tenses: Futuro Perfecto, Imperfecto.
8. Modo Condicional; oraciones condicionales.
9. Indicativo/ Subjuntivo.
10. Estilo directo e indirecto.
11. Pronombres personales, OD, OI.
12. Preposiciones.
13. Voz pasiva.

Active participation in class.
Handing in assigned work on time.
Passing a test to check the level of acquisition of the material completed - minimum 60% correct answers.
