Course objectives
The course aims to develop the learner's language competences in Spanish at B1 / B2 level. These competences include knowledge of grammatical structures in the various domains listed below.

Course content
1. Using the past tense: Past Perfect, Imperfect, Indefinite, Pluperfect.
2. Using future tenses: Future Perfect, Imperfect.
3. Conditional mode; conditional sentences.
4. Indicative / Subjunctive.
5. Direct and indirect style.
6. Personal pronouns, OD, OI.
7. Prepositions.
8. Passive voice.

The student
1. has a structured knowledge of the Spanish language; knows the lexical, grammatical and phonological rules of the Spanish at B2 level and the rules of selecting means for expressing specific types of information (m-W-1/P6S_WG)

2. search, analyze, select and use information from academic and popular sources and tools, including online resources (m-U-1/P6S_UW)
3.use the Spanish in speech and writing at B2 level with relative fluency, accuracy and effectiveness of communication on a wide range of general, cultural and business issues (m-U-2/P6S_UK)
Social competences
The student is ready to
4. shape his/her own views on the basis of the acquired general and detailed knowledge on topics related to the Spanish language area (m-K-1/P6S_KK)
Assessment criteria
Forms of evaluation of learning outcomes
1. Active participation in classes - 60% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3,4)
• written tasks performed during classes 30%
• written tasks performed independently 30%
2. The final test - 40% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3)
Pass at 60% of the final grade
