Course objectives
The course aims to familiarize students with various forms of texts, such as e-mail, official letter, private letter, review, short story, short poetic forms, etc. The course also develops composing and editing skills, logical argumentation and consolidates the student's vocabulary.

The student
1. has a structured knowledge of the Spanish language; knows the lexical, grammatical and phonological rules of the Spanish at B2 level and the rules of selecting means for expressing specific types of information (m-W-1/P6S_WG)

2. search, analyze, select and use information from academic and popular sources and tools, including online resources (m-U-1/P6S_UW)
3. use the Spanish in writing at B2 level with relative fluency, accuracy and effectiveness of communication on a wide range of general, cultural and business issues (m-U-2 /P6S_UK)

The student is ready to
4. shape his/her own views on the basis of the acquired general and detailed knowledge on topics related to the Spanish language area (m-K-1/P6S_KK)
Assessment criteria
Forms of evaluation of learning outcomes
1. Active participation in classes - 80% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3,4)
• four written assignments 15 each%
• presentation of works written during classes 20%
2. The final test - 20% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3)
Pass at 60% of the final grade
