- getting to know the specificity of a given region and the directions of development of tourism

Course content of Tourist Regions of the World 1:
1. Natural and cultural-historical conditions for the development of tourism on a global scale
2. The spatial structure of the world - continents, seas and oceans and their diversity in terms of tourist accessibility
3. Geographic regionalization of the world and global landscape zones
4. Spatial differentiation of the intensity of tourist traffic around the world, issues of overtourism
5. Europe as an area of tourism development, population, economic, natural and cultural potential
6. Geographic and administrative division of Europe.
7. Tourist regions of Southern Europe - selected representative countries of the Mediterranean and associated seas, as well as the Black and Azov seas
8. Tourist regions of Western Europe - selected representative countries
10. Tourist regions of Northern Europe - selected representative countries

3. methodology of developing tourist routes, taking into account contemporary directions of regional tourism development (k_W10/P6S_WK)
4. geographic, historical and cultural aspects necessary for the service of tourism in selected Western, Southen and Northen European countries (k_W11/P6S_WK)
Skills
The student is able to:
5. observe, search, process and interpret information on tourist regions of the world using various sources (k_U05/P6S_UW)
6. independently plan and present tourist routes (k_U06/P6S_UW; k_U07/P6S_UK)

Assessment criteria
Forms of evaluation of learning outcomes:
1. Active participation in the workshops - 50% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9)
2. Presentation - 50% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9)
Pass at 60% of the final grade.
