Course content of Tourist Regions of the World 2:
1. Tourist specificity of Central and Eastern Europe
2. Physical and geographical diversity of Central and Eastern Europe - mountains, highlands, lowlands, coastal zones, characteristic features of landscapes.
3. Natural peculiarities of Central and Eastern Europe as a tourist attraction.
4. National parks of Central and Eastern Europe, visiting conditions.
5. Cultural and historical values of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
6. Monuments of Central and Eastern European countries, including UNESCO monuments.
7. Demographic characteristics and population of Central and Eastern European countries.
8. Cuisine, traditions and culture of the societies of Central and Eastern Europe.
9. Availability of tourist attractions in Central and Eastern Europe, transport systems.
10. Economic conditions of Central and Eastern European countries in the aspect of tourism development.

4. natural, historical, cultural and socio-economic foundations for the development of tourism in selected countries Central and Eastern Europe (k_W11/P6S_WK)

The student is able to:
5. observe, search, process and interpret information on tourist regions of the world using various sources (k_U05/P6S_UW)
6. independently plan and present tourist routes (k_U06/P6S_UW; k_U07/P6S_UK)

Assessment criteria
Forms of evaluation of learning outcomes:
1. Active participation in the workshops - 45% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9)
2. Presentation - 55% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9)
Pass at 60% of the final grade.
