Course objectives
Familiarizing students with the following issues:
- tourist development;
- types of base included in the tourist infrastructure;
- characteristic features of the base intended for various forms and types of tourism and
- types of tourist services and facilities.

- tourist development (definition and basic concepts)
- division of tourist infrastructure
- communication base; types and specificity of tourist transport
- nutritional base (gastronomic); principles of cooperation
-accommodation base, types of facilities, categorization
- complementary base
- division of tourist facilities and services
-tourism development due to the forms of tourism and the type of services,
- tourist development of selected areas - presentation

The student knows and understands:
1. basic issues in the field of tourism development (k_W05/P6S_WK; k_W07/P6S_WK)
2. advanced terminology concerning tourist development in Polish (k_W04/P6S_WG)
Skills
The student is able to:
3. distinguish the components of tourist infrastructure through the right selection, evaluation and analysis of the information obtained (k_U02/P6S_UW)
4. prepare an oral presentation and typical written works in Polish concerning tourist development (k_U01/P6S_UW)
5. undertake group activities aimed at developing skills that ensure success in work in tourism (k_U13/P6S_UO)
Social competence
The student is ready to:
6. comply with the rules of professional ethics and require it from others, constantly and care for the achievements and traditions of the profession (k_K06/P6S_KR)
Assessment criteria
Forms of evaluation of learning outcomes:
1. Active participation in the workshops - 25% of the final grade (outcome1,2,3,4,5,6)
2. Presentation - 25% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3,4,5,6)
3. Final test (test with open questions (tasks) - 50% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3)
Pass at 60% of the final grade.
