Course objectives
The aim of the course is to prepare the student for the efficient use of information technology tools.

Program content
Support for the MS Windows operating system and selected office suite applications, data storage and archiving, resource sharing.
Working with a spreadsheet (MS Office Excel or Libre Office Calc) - basics of working with a spreadsheet, data preparation, use of spreadsheet formulas and functions, creating charts, creating simple tables and pivot charts.
Working with a text editor (MS Office Word or LibreOffice Write) - creating and editing documents, formatting entered text, using formatting styles, creating tables, inserting drawings and other objects, using the available automation of working with documents (e.g. tables of contents, indexes, bibliography ).
Working with presentations (MS Office PowerPoint or LiberOffice Impress) - creating business presentations, modifying and using slide templates, formatting objects placed in the presentation, i.e. text, lists, tables, charts, graphic and multimedia elements.

Forms of evaluation of learning outcomes:
1. Active participation in classes, including completing tasks with the use of an office package - partial grades - 100% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3,4)
Pass at 60% of the final grade
