K_W02 has in-depth and expanded knowledge of the importance of statistics and research methodology in the discipline of psychology
K_U01 has in-depth skills of observing, searching, processing and interpreting information on psychological and social phenomena of various nature, using statistical methods
K_U04 has developed research skills: distinguishes between orientations in the methodology of psychological research, formulates and solves research problems, selects adequate methods and techniques, and constructs research tools; develops, presents and interprets research results, draws conclusions, indicates directions for further research within the selected sub-discipline of psychology;
K_K02 is convinced of the necessity to follow the rules of professional ethics in statistical conclusions
Assessment criteria
practical test - performing tasks with the help of a statistical program - i.e. a test checking the practical use of knowledge / competence and skills) + homework (a set of homework [2] exercises entitles students to increase their grade by 0.5)
the final grade will be determined based on the obtained number of points according to rules:
• 3.0: if the student scores above 60% points
• 4.0: if the student obtains above 75% of points
• 5.0: if the student scores above 90% points
