The tasks of the compulsory internship include familiarizing the student with specific issues, in particular with:
• the scope of duties and powers in the position at which the student will practice and the legal regulations in force in the host unit (external and internal legal acts regulating the scope and manner of working in the positions, health and safety regulations, regulations on maintaining professional secrecy, etc.);
• the content of the entity's activity in terms of the subject, spatial, functional, and organizational aspects, including, for example, its documentation, statute, strategies, development plans, economic results, etc .;
• the organizational structure of the company and interrelationships and dependencies between cells;
• the principles of cooperation within the unit accepting the student for internship (between the selected department / s and other functions/departments of the unit) and with various entities of the environment - under the nature of the unit (e.g., customers, suppliers, subcontractors);
• the scope of decisions made and tasks performed in the department selected by the student in the unit hosting the student for placement;
• the flow of information on tasks and decision-making processes, the principles of their documentation and supervision, also with the use of IT systems supporting management;
• technology and organization of functions in the enterprise, practical application of modern solutions supporting the implementation of tasks in a selected department.
As part of the internship, students should take part in the work during which they could get acquainted with practically selected issues under the content studied within the field of study.
