Contribution of Judaism to oriental culture 5.6.0.3.07
The lecture proposes a different approach and highlights the federal factor of Judaism and the unity of the Jewish people throughout the so-called Orient and its history. It aims to raise awareness of the cultural wealth brought by Jews in so many different regions. In addition, it seeks to preserve and enhance that part of the cultural heritage that represents Jewish sites scattered throughout the area. This route leads through the visual presence of so-called 'buildings or remains'. It is important to note that this exchange and the influence of the lifestyle takes place in two ways. On the one hand, Jewish heritage is historical proof that the Jewish people were influenced by the society in which they lived. (e.g. synagogue architecture, use of languages such as Yiddish, ladino...). On the other hand, the Jewish Heritage Trail will mean the influence that the Jewish legacy has left in many regions of the Orient throughout history.
