During the course, methods, and results of research of the Solar System will be presented. The theory of the formation of planetary systems will be presented. The results of the search for extrasolar planets and the possibility of finding life in the Universe will be discussed.

Knowledge: They have knowledge of solar system research. They are familiar with the research techniques used in this research. They know the theories of the formation of the solar system and other planetary systems. They know the results of research on the search for extrasolar planetary systems.
Skills: Can find information about Solar System exploration in literature, databases, and other sources.
Attitudes: Can critically approach the results of research presented in lectures. They know and know how to apply the principles of professional ethics in scientific research. They can cooperate in expanding their knowledge in the field covered by the lecture.
