Learning outcomes
Knowledge:
They have knowledge of the recent issues in modern astronomy. They are familiar with the research techniques used in this research. They know both the theory and the observational results on the most important issues in modern astronomy.
Skills:
Can find information on the most important issues in modern astronomy in the professional literature, databases and other sources. Based on observational data available in the professional literature, they are able to carry out basic cosmological tests.
Attitudes:
Can critically approach the results of research presented in lectures. They know and are able to apply the principles of professional ethics in scientific research. They can cooperate in expanding their knowledge in the field covered by the lecture.
Assessment criteria
Conditions for passing lecture:
• pass with grade,
• participation in lectures,
• participation in the summary discussion.
