Badminton – a health-promoting alternative KZ-O-SW-00-000006
The aim of the course is to create a beneficial health platform, which in the case of systematic and consistent work on your own body can have a positive effect on proper physical development and can permanently maintain a beneficial health impact on the exercising body:
- Intoxication of systematic physical activity.
-Conviction of lasting pro-health values of a sport discipline.
-Make permanent changes in spending free time.
Program content:
1. Mastering technical components, including:
- mastering basic reflections forhand, backhand.
- correct performance of long, short and directed service.
- learning how to navigate correctly on the pitch, settings for serving and receiving service.
2. Acquaintance with elements of tactics:
Single play tactics.
- double and mixed game tactics.
- elements of tournament and match tactics.
3. Elements of organizing tournaments in different age categories.

Assessment criteria
Assessment method - credit with a grade
Assessment methods: - Mastering basic skills in the technique and tactics of singles and doubles in badminton, the ability to organize sports competitions and to write the appropriate system of games.
-Evaluation of knowledge in the field of theory regarding the technique and tactics of badminton, rules of the game and the organization of sports competitions and various competition systems.
- Obligation to participate in at least 80% of classes.
