Bachelor's degree studies full time, 3 years Language: Polish | Jump to: Opis ogólnyCzego uczy się na kierunku Logopedia z językiem polskim jako obcym? Studia są kierowane do osób chcących pracować w zawodzie logopedy i lektora języka polskiego jako obcego. Studentka/student otrzymuje podstawowe wykształcenie ogólnohumanistyczne oraz wykształcenie kierunkowe obejmujące podstawową, szczegółową wiedzę z zakresu językoznawstwa i literaturoznawstwa, logopedii. Zapozna się z lingwistycznymi podstawami logopedii oraz z niezbędną do wykonywania zawodu logopedy i lektora wiedzą interdyscyplinarną z obszaru nauk medycznych oraz glottodydaktyki polonistycznej. Zdobędzie umiejętność oceny zjawisk logopedycznych, rozpoznawania nieprawidłowości w rozwoju mowy oraz klasyfikowania różnych postaci zaburzeń mowy. Pozna procedury postępowania diagnostyczno-terapeutycznego wybranych zaburzeń rozwoju mowy i języka oraz zaburzeń mowy. Absolwentka/absolwenci tego kierunku posiadają liczne umiejętności praktyczne, dysponują kompetencją umożliwiającą im nauczanie języka polskiego obcokrajowców, dzieci dwujęzyczne oraz samodzielne przeprowadzanie postępowania diagnostycznego, planowanie i prowadzenie terapii logopedycznej wybranych zaburzeń mowy. Działalność studencka Studentki i studenci mają możliwość wyjazdu na stypendia do innych ośrodków naukowych (także uczelni zagranicznych) w ramach programu Erasmus oraz MOST. Najaktywniejsi naukowo otrzymują stypendia naukowe, mogą też wybrać indywidualny plan studiów (IPS) bądź indywidualną organizację studiów (IOS), w ramach których mają możliwość pracowania pod bezpośrednią opieką pracownika naukowego. Możliwość udziału w prężnie działających kołach naukowych oraz ruchu studenckim, a także praktyki w rozmaitych placówkach zapewniają doświadczenie potrzebne w przyszłej pracy zawodowej. Co można robić po tych studiach? Po ukończeniu tego kierunku absolwentka/absolwent będzie mógł uzupełnić wykształcenie logopedyczne, tj. kontynuować studia logopedyczne na II stopniu (logopeda musi mieć tytuł magistra!). Studentka/student nabędzie też kompetencje glottodydaktyczne przygotowujące do nauczania języka polskiego obcokrajowców, dzieci dwujęzyczne i będzie mógł podjąć pracę lektora w szkołach języka polskiego jako obcego w kraju i za granicą. Kontynuowanie nauki na II stopniu studiów W celu uzyskania pełnych uprawnień do wykonywania zawodu logopedy ogólnego absolwent ma możliwość kontynuowania studiów logopedycznych drugiego stopnia o profilu praktycznym (również na Uniwersytecie Opolskim). Absolwentka/absolwent pierwszego stopnia studiów na kierunku logopedia z językiem polskim jako obcym otrzymuje częściowe przygotowanie zawodowe w zakresie logopedii ogólnej i pełne uprawnienia z obszaru glottodydaktyki polonistycznej. Osoby kończące kierunek zdobędą wiedzę i umiejętności pozwalające im na kontynuowanie w przyszłości studiów logopedycznych na drugim stopniu, tj. na poziomie studiów magisterskich, po których uzyska dyplom logopedy w pełni uprawniający go do wykonywania zawodu logopedy w różnorodnych placówkach i środowiskach, m.in. poradniach logopedycznych, gabinetach, szpitalach, ośrodkach pomocy społecznej, a także placówkach oświatowych (warunkiem jest przygotowanie pedagogiczne i ukończenie modułu nauczycielskiego). Learning outcomes
The graduate of Speech Therapy with Polish as a Foreign Language knows:
- at an advanced level - selected facts, objects and phenomena in linguistics, medicine, literature and culture as well as linguistic (including speech therapy and language education) and literary studies methods and theories concerning them, explaining the complex relations between them, constituting basic general knowledge in the humanities, forming its theoretical foundations, and selected issues in the scope of detailed knowledge of linguistics (including speech therapy and language education) and literary studies;
- theories, methodology and general and specific terminology in linguistics (including speech therapy and language education) and literary studies;
- methods of analysis and interpretation of texts in Polish within selected traditions, theories and research schools in Polish linguistics and literary studies (with the possibility of linking them to methods characteristic of other humanities, and medical sciences);
- structure and functions of the human body (nervous system, hearing and speech organs);
- fundamental dilemmas of contemporary linguistics (including speech therapy and language education) in terms of their study and application to solving social problems;
- basic legal and other determinants of research in linguistics (including speech therapy and language teaching) and the determinants of applications of the results of this research;
- principles of operation and protection of intellectual property and copyright;
- principles of operation of systems and institutions appropriate to the scope of professional activity relevant to linguistics (including speech therapy);
- content connected with the preparation for the profession of a speech therapist.
The graduate of the Speech Therapy with Polish as a Foreign Language programme can:
- apply their knowledge of linguistics (including speech therapy and language education), literary studies and medical science
- formulate and solve complex and untypical problems concerning the use of knowledge of linguistics (including speech therapy and language education) and literary studies, and perform tasks under conditions that are not fully predictable by: selecting sources and information from them appropriately, evaluating, critically analysing and synthesising this information, selecting and applying appropriate methods and tools, including advanced information and communication technology (ICT);
- formulate and analyse research problems, choose methods and tools for solving them, using knowledge of linguistics (with the possibility of taking into account the knowledge of related sciences)
- recognize texts and other creations of culture and carry out their critical analysis and interpretation with the use of standard philological methods allowing for an assessment of their relevance and impact in the historical and cultural process.
- communicate with the use of specialist Polish linguistic (including speech therapy and language education) and literary terminology;
- perform professional tasks resulting from the roles of a speech therapist and teacher of Polish as a foreign language;
- improve his/her skills as a speech therapist and teacher of Polish as a foreign language, using modern means and methods of acquiring, organising and processing information and materials;
- take part in a debate - present and evaluate different opinions and positions in terms of spatial economics and discuss them;
- use a foreign language at level B2 of the Common European Framework for Languages
- plan and organize individual and team work;
- independently plan and carry out his/her own learning throughout life
- use the knowledge related to the preparation for the profession of a speech therapist.
The graduate of the Speech Therapy with Polish as a Foreign Language programme is prepared to:
- critically evaluate their knowledge of linguistics (including speech therapy and language education) and literary studies, and recognise the importance of knowledge of the Polish language and literature in solving cognitive and practical problems; deepen their knowledge on their own;
- fulfil social obligations to co-organise actions for social environment, initiate actions for public interest;
- cooperate with teachers and specialists in order to improve their skills;
- responsibly perform the professional roles of a school speech therapist and teacher of Polish as a foreign language, and show empathy to children and pupils in need of support and assistance;
- professionally resolve conflicts;
- adhere to the principles of professional ethics and require others to do so, and care for the achievements and traditions of the profession;
- participate in cultural life and use its various forms
- function in the profession of a speech therapist competently, responsibly and ethically.
