- The main research topic is the substantive criminal law and fiscal criminal law, in particular with respect to the rules of criminal liability, rules of broadly perceived criminal sanctions, and legal institutions described in the general part of these criminal laws.

- The research interests also focus on selected crimes and petty offences, as well as fiscal crimes and petty offences.

- The research area is related to the forbidden acts generically described in the specific part of the Penal Code and the Penal Fiscal Code, and those described in criminal provisions of specific laws within the scope of the so called non-Code criminal law.

- The research interests include models of disciplinary proceedings.
