A foreigner's guide to Polish culture 1.2.5-EC-FGPC
Course objectives:
The course conducted in a form of a workshop aims at creating a guide for foreign students based on the analysis of students' observations of different aspects of Polish culture after the first year of their studies.
It provides also the opportunity to build language skills in academic contexts through familiarisation with realistic materials and project work.

Learning outcomes acc to PRK 2019:
Knowledge:
1. The student knows and understands methods of analysis and interpretation of public texts and culture products (k_W4/P6S_WG)
Skills:
2. The student can use their communication knowledge to select, assess materials and organize them effectively in a form of presentation – ICT (k_U01/P6S_UW, k_U04/P6S_UK)
3. The student can use English as a foreign language at the level of at least C1 (k_U05/P6S_UK)
Social competence:
4. The studentis ready to fulfil social obligations and co-organise actions by preparing group projects (k_K01/P6S_KK)
5. The student os ready to participate in cultural life – learning about new cultures and promoting their own culture (k_K04/P6S_KO)
Kryteria oceniania
Forms of evaluation of learning outcomes:
In class participation (30%) - outcome 1,3
Project and its presentation (70%) - outcome 1,2,3,4,5
