Course objectives:
The aim of the course is to improve students' skills in using British English pronunciation strategies. Their second semester of studies focuses on analising and practising the pronunciation of consonants, with special attention given to plosives, fricatives as well as affricates of English

• Pronunciation learning tasks: text reading practice, pre-prepared speech practice, spontaneous speech practice

individual and group work, text reading practice, pre-prepared speech practice, spontaneous speech practice, ICT tools/e-learning option if needed

Kryteria oceniania
Form of evaluation of learning outcomes:
1. Active participation in classes (including online activeness) - 10% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3)
2. Reading of pre-prepared text 40% of the final grade (outcome 1,2)
3. Written test 50% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3)
pass at 60% of the final grade
