Language skills: speaking 2 1.N3.EP.2
Course objectives:
The course prepares students for the C1 self-study exam - speaking part. It aims at developing their fluency and accuracy in speaking.

Course content:
The students continue to work on: initiating of the conversation, giving personal information, expressing an opinion, informing the speaker about personal feelings and experience, comparing, expressing assumptions, encouraging the speaker to exchange the views, ways of expressing acceptance or lack of it in the context of the speaker, task negotiating, problem solution (individual and group), finishing the conversation.

Methods of instruction/ forms of classroom activity:
in-class discussions, pair work, oral perfomance and presentations, analysis of oral performance, analysis of language samples, error correction, ICT tools/e-learning option if needed

1. Students have a proficiency in English at C1 level, know grammatical, lexical and stylistic rules of correct uses of English, as well as of various registers to be used appropriately to social contexts (k_W02/P6S_WG)

Skills:
3. Students can collaborate with others to prepare oral projects or presentations in English (k_U04/P6S_UK)
4. Students can use spoken English (relative to C1 level) correctly, fluently and effectively to discuss a variety of topics related to the condition of the individual in the modern society or to current issues (k_U05/P6S_UK)
Social competences
5. Students are well-organized and reliable as regards assignments (k_K01/P6S_KK)
Kryteria oceniania
Forms of evaluation of learning outcomes:
1. Oral presentation - 50% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3,4,5)
2. Active participation in the classes - 50% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3,4)
