Student knows and understands:
1. theories, methodology and general and detailed terminology of linguistics, literature and culture studies (k_W02/P6S_WG)
2. methods of analysis and interpretation of texts and culture products, within selected traditions, theories and research schools in linguistics, literature and culture studies (k_W04/P6S_WG)
3. rules of the protection of intellectual and industrial copyright and the form of development of individual entrepreneurship (k_W10/P6S_WK)
Skills
Student can:
4. use their philological knowledge in proper selection of sources and information drawn from them in the processes of evaluation, critical analysis and synthesising of that information in English in their academic text (k_U02/P6S_UW)
5. use arguments and formulate logical conclusions in their own academic text based on studies of other authors (k_U03/P6S-UW)
Social competences
Student is ready to:
6. critically evaluate and solve problems arising from the implementation of professional tasks such as text creation (k_K02/P6S_KK)

Kryteria oceniania
Forms of evaluation of learning outcomes:
1. Active participation in classes - 20% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3,6,7)
2. Evaluation of the style, form and content of BA theses - 80% of the final grade (outcomes 1,2,3,4,5)
