3. Migrations and propaganda. Representation of migrants and refugees in public media.
4. Gender roles and intersexuality

7. Representation of sexual minorities in media
8. Representation of Muslims in media
9. Representations of Latinos in media
10. Representation of Romani ppl in media
11. Representation of Afro-Americans in media

2. The student has the ability to search for, analyze, select and use information related to representation of race and gender in media by consulting various academic and popular sources and tools, including digitalized online repositories (m-U-1/P6S_UO)
3. The student can describe selected types of culture products and practices related to representation of race and gender in media and carry out their critical analysis and interpretation in order to determine their (various) meanings, their social impact, and their place in cultural tradition and heritage of the English-speaking countries (m-U-2/P6S_UW)

4. The student is ready to make responsible and ethical use of cultural products with representation of race and gender (m-K-1/P6S_KR)
5. The student shapes their own views regarding the significance of representation of race and gender in media (m-K-2 /P6S_KK)
Kryteria oceniania
Forms of evaluation of learning outcomes:
1. Active particiaption - 25% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3.4.5)
2. A multiple-choice test - 50% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3)
3. A presentation on a chosen topic - 25% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3,5)
Pass at 60% of the final grade
