Course objectives
In this course students continue to work on: expressing an opinion on the role of the individual in society, informing the speaker about personal feelings and experience, comparing, expressing assumptions, encouraging the speaker to exchange the views, ways of expressing acceptance or lack of it in the context of the speaker, task negotiating, problem solution (individual and group).

Knowledge:
1. Students know the role of English as a cognitive means and a tool used for public communication including persuasion (k_W03/P6S_WG)
Skills:
2.Students can prepare elaborate public speaking presentations relating to communication studies using formal sources (k_U04/P6S_UK)
3. Students can use English at the level of C1 of the Common European Framework for Languages (k_U05/P6S_UK)
Social competences
4. Students are ready to manage time and prioritize the implementation of various tasks related to studying (k_K01/P6S_KK)
Kryteria oceniania
Forms of evaluation of learning outcomes:
1. Giving a presentation - 50% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3,4)
Presentation must take a minimum of 70 minutes.
2. Active participation in class - 50% of the final grade (outcome 1,4)
Active participation in 10+ classes will grant the student a half-grade extra at the end of the semester.
