Introduction. Discussion of the rules of passing the course.
1. Definition issues.
2. Sources of ethical dilemmas in sociological research: examples of research.
3. Elementary standards of professional conduct.
4. International and national legal regulations related to conducting social research.
5. General rules governing conducting sociological research.
6. Social effects of conducting sociological research and its ethical dimension.
7. The problem of research in which one of the elements is cheating (lying).
8. The interviewers' work control program and its ethical dimension.
9. Summary.

He knows selected human concepts: philosophical, psychological and social.
Knows and understands the basic concepts and principles of intellectual property protection.
Has basic knowledge of norms and rules in social life, organizing social institutions and structures.

Assessment criteria
Active participation in classes, reading, individual or group preparation and presentation of selected topics.
Examination: a written thesis on problems, difficulties and ethical dilemmas in the conducted bachelor's theses.
