1. Knows selected concepts of society, taking into account their historical and cultural context
2. Knows the theoretical and methodological disputes in sociology and the historical contexts in which the main theories were developed
3. Can use basic theoretical approaches, research approaches and concepts relevant to sociology in the description and analysis of social problems
4. Can use basic theoretical knowledge in the field of sociology and acquire data to analyze specific social processes and phenomena (cultural, political, legal, economic)
5. Understands and appreciates the importance of independent, permanent expansion of knowledge and skills in the field of sociology and related fields
6. Recognizes and understands the value of the heritage and achievements of sociology, contributes to the development of sociological knowledge with his attitude, being oriented towards innovation and a high level of sociological workshop; is open to critical analysis of the existing sociological theories and concepts, boldly formulates his own theses and arguments
Assessment criteria
Attendance.The basis for obtaining a pass from the exercises is a positive pass of two tests and active participation in meetings. Written exam in the form of a test.
