English for Marketing Campaigns: Strategies, Leadership and Digital Communication 1.2.5-EC-EMC
Objectives and Description
The main objective of the course is to work in an international environment and through content-based sessions enhance English language skills specialized in marketing communication. Further, the course aims to explore and improve digital skills such as working with word, excel, canva, AI generative platforms and similar to promote digital transformation in education as well as prepare students for the current competitive labor market. Moreover students will develop skills in copy writing, statistics, designing.
During the course students will learn how to create a successful marketing campaign via a series of workshops (marketing strategies, AI tools in marketing, digital tools in marketing, meeting and exploring the local market, language of marketing). The second part of the course is based on team-work and challenge-based education where students need to design and create their own marketing campaign which will be consulted with professional stakeholders. Via Gallup test students will explore their talents and apply them in the course assignments.
Virtual Component Description:
During the online sessions students will get familiar with the whole concept of the course. They will be introduced and asked to fill out the Gallup test, test for talent assessment, to find out more about their strengths that will be further used for team work roles during the physical part. Further students will participate in two online sessions, one on planning, where they will develop skills on how to create a business plan and master time-management. The second session will be on budgeting, how to prepare budget, administer it, compare prices on the market and stick to the budget.
Methods and outcomes:
Through Project-based learning, and challenge-based education students will be able to:
● create a structured and effective marketing campaign that helps to achieve the business objectives
● Understand core marketing principles
● Design and implement effective marketing campaigns across various channels, especially digital media
● Utilize project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor marketing activities.
● Develop persuasive marketing messages and materials that effectively communicate value propositions.
● Deliver professional presentations and written reports on marketing plans and outcomes.
