Practical grammar of English 1.2.5-EC-PGR
The course will reinforce students’ mastery of English grammar as well as prepare them for practical tests and exams at upper-intermediate and advanced levels.
1. Introduction. Placement test.
2. Present tenses - revision and extension.
2. Past tenses - revision and extension.
3. Future tenses - revision and extension.
4. Modal verbs in the present and past.
5. Test 1 (tenses and modals)
6. Passive voice and causative forms.
7. Conditional sentences.
8. Unreal past and present and wishes.
9.Reported speech - revision and extension.
10. Test 2 ( passive voice, conditionals, unreal past, indirect speech)
11. Inversion - revision and extension.
12. Relative clauses - revision and extension.
13. Verb forms and verbal complements.
14. Test 3 (inversion, relative clauses, verbs)
15. Individual meetings. Discussing final results, giving grades.

Grades for the tests are granted according to the following framework:
Grade 2.0 (fail) – 0-59%

Grade 5.0 (very good) – 92-100%
