Training objectives:
1. to familiarize students with the rules of providing access to the collections and information processing activities of the Main Library
2. getting to know the types of collections and their locations
3. getting acquainted with various ways of searching for information in the central catalog of the UO Library
4. getting to know the offer of scientific databases
5. presenting the functions of the Primo multisearch engine along with various methods of searching for information
6. informing about databases and e-book platforms in the field of humanities and social sciences available in the UO computer network.

Learning outcomes:
Knowledge: the student should know his / her rights and obligations as a user of the UO library and information system.
Skills: the student can independently search for and order publications in the Aleph catalog and search for resources in the databases of books and electronic journals.
Social competences: he student can consciously search for information and select it according to his needs.

Forms of evaluation of the learning outcomes
The student must be able to log in to the Aleph system on their own and have at least one book borrowed on their library account.
