Assessment criteria
Forms of evaluation of learning outcomes
1. Short take-home essay (approx. 1000 words). Students will be asked to write a short argumentative essay based on a given topic in reference to the academic texts covered in class. The essay will be assessed on its structure and argumentation, as well as how it is supported academic theories and texts. Citation rules are strictly in place. - 55% of final grade (outcome 2,3,4,5,6)
2. Active class participation: Students will be assessed on their participation in class discussions, preparation for classes (readings), and active attendance - 45% of the final grade - (outcome 1,2,3,4,6)
pass at 60% of the final grade
