Course objectives:
The aim of the course is to allow students to practice the productive skills of writing and conversation to reach full C1 level of proficiency in those skills.

Course content:
Speaking is conducted by student-led activities such as: design your own class speaking lesson, presentations, class discussions, arguments and debates etc.
Writing activities are designed to leave students prepared for a C1 level writing exam. Writing genres and correspondence is presented so that students have a template from which to produce written assignments in class.

Forms of evaluation of learning outcomes:
1. Active participation - 40% of the final grade (outcome 1,3,4,6)
2. Up to 6 graded writing assignments - 60% of the final grade (outcome 2,3,4,5,6)
Final Grading Framework:
2.0 (Fail): 0-59%
3.0 (Average): 60-68%
3.5 (Average Plus): 69-74%
4.0 (Good): 75-84%
4.5 (Good Plus): 85-92%
5.0 (Very Good): 93-100%
