Course objectives:
The objective of the course is to adjust the program to individual needs of a group and to focus on those learning strategies or techniques which are problematic and prevent students from achieving a more satisfactory level of learning effectiveness. The basic skill which will be developed is reflection on one's learning process and preparation to a strategic approach to different educational challenges.

1 The student knows the key learning strategies (cognitive, memorising and compensation, linguistic strategies; stress management, organisation and planning of the learning process) (k_W02/P6S_WG)
Skills
2. The student is able to use different source materials (the Internet, library) and prepare own reports, presentations (k_U04/P6S_UK)
3. The student is able to perform in pairwork and groupwork activities to develop own study skills (k_U08/P6S_UO)
4. The student can communicate in English at C1 level (k_U05/P6S_UK) in oral and written form
Social competences
5. The student is able to prioritise learning tasks (k_K01/P6S_KK)
Assessment criteria
Forms of evaluation of learning outcomes:
1. Active participation - 40% of the final grade (outcome 1, 3, 4)
2. Up to 3 reports - 20% each of the final grade (outcome 1, 2, 4, 5)
Criteria of evaluation:
60% = 3
80% = 4
100% = 5
The students have a choice in report writing.

Report 3 - My memorisation process
Report 4 - Overcoming my writer's block
Report 5 - Visual design in my presentations
