- expanding knowledge about Polish tourist regions
- getting to know the specificity of a given region and the directions of development of tourism
- planning tourist routes
- presenting tourist regions

Course content:
Basic methods of assessing the geographical environment for tourism
Poland's tourist values, including: recreational, sightseeing, cultural, specialist and special forms of recognition and protection of values
Tourist development of Poland
Theoretical foundations of tourist regionalization
Macroregions and tourist regions of Poland and attractiveness
Methodology of creating routes and thematic paths, including educational ones - selected aspects

Knowledge
The student knows and understands:
1. selected concepts, definitions and scope of tourist geography (k_W04/P6S_WG)
2. the principles of copyright and its protection in relation to various cultural products from various regions of Poland (k_W06/P6S_WK)
3. methodology of developing tourist routes, taking into account contemporary directions of regional tourism development (k_W10/P6S_WK)
4. natural, historical and cultural conditions of Polish regions covered by the course program (k_W11/P6S_WK)
Skills
The student is able to:
5. observe, search, process and interpret information on Polish tourist regions using various sources (k_U05/P6S_UW)
6. independently plan tourist routes, using plans, maps, folders and illustrations (k_U06/P6S_UW)
7. use geographical knowledge in creating a tourist product, working individually and in a team (k_U14/P6S_UO)
Social competence
The student is ready to:
8. critically assess one's own competences and knowledge of Polish regions and continuously improve one's ability to plan tourist routes (k_K03/P6S_KK)
9. accept cultural differences and recognise them as natural professional conditions (k_K04/P6S_KO)
10. engage in activities for the protection of monuments and nature in the region and the country (k_K05/P6S_KO)
Assessment criteria
Forms of evaluation of learning outcomes:
1. Active participation in the workshops - 45% of the final grade (effect 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10)
2. Presentation - 55% of the final grade (effect 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9)
Pass at 60% of the final grade.
