Course Objectives:
- preliminary planning and implementation of tourist routes.
- initial orientation in the rules of conduct with participants of group tours and the ways of behaving in special situations
- initial knowledge of typical and atypical forms of pilotage depending on the type of tourist events.

Course content part 1:
1. Legal regulations regarding the tour leader and tourist guide.
2. Tasks, duties and rights of the pilot and guide.
3. Forms of employment; remuneration; diets - calculation
4. Types of events served by the pilot.
5. Activities of the pilot during the service of tourist events.
6. Presidency in Poland (types of guides and scopes of powers).
7. Presidency in selected countries.
8. Guidance in museums and other facilities.
