The course will include the following topics:
1. Homelessness – reasons and solutions.
2. Violence, including domestic violence – characteristics of people en-gaged (victim, perpetrator, by-sander), reasons, symptoms, solutions on different levels.
3. Disability – types and relevant support of people with disabilities.
4. Unemployment - types and relevant support of people affected by the problem.
5. Poverty – reasons, types, support and prevention.
6. Addiction - reasons, types, support and prevention.
7. Single and teenage parenthood.
8. Crime, criminals and ex-prisoners as social work challenges.
9. Old people as clients of social work.
10. Cultural diversity as the opportunity and challenge in social work.
