Physical education - Zumba 8-WF-Z
Zumba is based on the principles of interval training and aerobic (cardio), which has a beneficial effect on cardiorespiratory endurance and increases the burning of calories. In addition, the movements performed perfectly reinforce and model fitting, especially the muscles stabilizing the torso (abdomen, back) and buttocks, legs and arms. Zumba also shapes the coordination, sense of rhythm and physical memory, increases flexibility and range of motion in the joints, and most of all triggers positive energy and good mood.
Classes begin with a warm-up, during which dominate the known aerobic steps, such as. The step touch, step out, double step, and others, then the main objective of the course is the gradual mastery of simple choreographed to specially selected music. The final part of the course is the phase relaxation and stretching the slower rhythms of music. To learn Zumba dancing skills are not necessary, because everyone can participate in the classes. Used in Zumbi motivating, energetic and hot rhythms and easy to learn choreography create a special atmosphere blurring the boundaries between physical exercise and fun.

-Student Has knowledge about the types and techniques of basic dance steps and fitness used in Zumbi
- The student is able to perform the basic steps of Zumba, to match the rhythm of the music to the dance and perform simple choreography to specific songs.
- The student has a habit of regular physical activity and taking care of their own health and fitness.
Assessment criteria
- The student is able to describe the basic steps used in Zumbi and match them to the correct rhythm of music.
- Observing the student during Zumba systems; -
- Prepared by the student presents himself Zumba system and executes it with the other participants in the course.
- To obtain credit require 100% attendance; each possible absence must be made up for in other classes in conducting, to which the student is stored; the exception of sick leave, which does not need to make up if it is justified sick leave.
