- The concept of law, the relationship between the law and other normative systems governing the functioning of society
- Legal norm - the concept, importance, construction (elements of the norms), basic types of norms, validity of norms
- The legal rule - the concept and types
- Legal language
- The validity of the law - territorial, personal and temporal
- The concept of an act of legislation, the role of local law in the administration
- legal sysyem
- creation and implemmentation of law
- Interpretation of the Laws, the concept and the task of interpretation and basic types (actors of interpretation,binding force, the drectives of interpretation)
- legal reasonings
- legal relationship

Learning outcomes
Knowledge
Students know the basic terminology of jurisprudence and political issues, understand its source and also apply within the related disciplines. He or she knows the sources of law, types, is able to identify the mass media, knows the basic forms of creation of law, understands the importance of interpretation of the law practice. Understands the impact of standards on the functioning of society, public authorities and institutions
Skills
Student has the ability to interpret the provisions. She or he has the ability to construct basic types of standards and regulations. He or she has the ability to justify their position and present their own views.
Social competence (attitudes)
The ability to deepen their knowledge and keep up with changes in the law, awareness of their knowledge and skills; understands the need for continuous training and development. Understanding the importance of standards and legal principles for the smooth functioning of society.
