5. The institutions of direct democracy
6. Presidential system of government
7. Semi-presidential system of government
8. Parliamentary system of government

Knowledge:
The student knows the basics of democratic theory and political theory. He knows basic information about political systems of democratic states, is versed in political systems of major contemporary states

The student can compare political systems. and can formulate descriptive and normative arguments about democracy
