Problems to elaborate: The notion and subject of logic. Language - signs, syntactic structures, semantic rules, kinds ofstatements. Names - kinds, properties, relations between denotations. Definitions and meaning, methods of building. Pronciples of logical division. Sentences - kinds and structures. Sentence-forming functors, intensional and extensional (truth functors). Basis of relations theory. Norms - notion and grounds of deontical reasoning. Aletic modalities. Logic of questions. Misunderstandings - types and causes. Direct and indirect justifications of statements. Deductive reasoning - classical sentences calculus, square of opposition, calculus of names, categorical syllogism. Probabilistic reasoning - induction and its cognitive value. Test, proof, explanation. Formal and material fallacies. Dispute and eristic arguments.

Learning outcomes
In the mind of student increases the sensivity, connected with logical phenomenons of common usage of language, the responsibility for his statements, claims, opinions, etc. increases as well. Student recognizes correctly/incorrectly presented definitions, approaches to analysing questions. relations, inferences, etc. Student knows methods of avoiding misunderstandings and fallaciesin disputes.
Assessment criteria
Exam: multi-choice test, 12 exercises, 25 minutes; to pass it minimum 7 correctly solved exercises are required.
