Course objectives
The main aim of the course is to raise student awareness of personal goals and develop self-reflection using professional coaching tools

1. Recognising own strengths and areas for change
2. Recognising own values and beliefs.
3. Recognising own habits. Changing habits.
4. Emotional intelligence and self-regulation.
5. Effective communication and building relationships.
6. Stress management. Gaining from failure.
7. Mindfulness training.
8. Creativity training.
9. Change management
10. Meditation practice.

Assessment criteria
Forms of evaluation of learning outcomes:
active participation (40% of the final grade - outcome 1,2,3,4,5,6,7)
main tasks (20% each - of the final grade - outcome 1,2,3,4,8)
1. a reflective essay on own personal development 20%
2. a reflective essay on an inspirational source (book or movie) 20%
3. a personal development action plan 20%
Grading system:
active participation and one main task - grade 3
active participation and two main tasks - grade 4
