Learning outcomes
Knowledge:
The student knows the place and meaning of cultural sciences, their subject and methodological specificity and directions of their development.
The student knows the basic problems of contemporary culture and civilization as part of their research and application to solving social phenomena.
The student knows the rules of functioning of cultural institutions (including in the field of education, culture, media).
Skills:
The student is able to use his knowledge in the field of cultural sciences - to present and deal with complex, unconventional cultural issues in the present day and in the activities of cultural institutions, and to carry out tasks using: properly selected sources and content contained in them in order to make a critical assessment analysis and inference, appropriate methods and tools, including advanced information and communication techniques (ICT)
The student is able to plan and organize work - both individually and in a team
The student is able to independently plan and implement his own learning throughout his life.
Competencies
The student is competent to critically assess the knowledge of cultural studies and solve problems resulting from the implementation of professional tasks
The student is competent to follow the rules of professional ethics and develop their own cultural skills through continuous education and participation in culture
Assessment criteria
- The form and conditions of passing the course
Grading - average of partial grades giving a positive final grade (average over 2.75)
