Professional status:
A graduate obtains qualifications for creative projects executed individually and in a group, including activities of an artistic as well as functional character. Within the major, a student gains practical skills to apply modern techniques of graphic designing, classical and digital animation techniques, to work with photographic and video equipment. Creatively uses potential of a digital record in the context of both static images (photography) and motion images (video, animation). A graduate has advanced knowledge covering use of professional applications for editing images and text, experience gained from work in professional studio conditions (atelier) and skills needed to create original projects in graphic, multimedia and photography design. Skilful use of the latest technology available on the market, taking full advantage of its possibilities. A graduate can also find their place in a team of persons responsible for individual stages of project implementations. Gained experience allows a him or her to undertake work a graphics designer, author of multimedia projects, professional photographer and to practice the profession of the co-called freelancer. A gradate may take up creative professional work in: cultural centres and institutions, art and extracurricular education centres; mass media; promotional and advertising structures and as:
a text and motion pictures editor,
organiser of creative activities in extracurricular education institutions (museums, culture centres promoting art culture, art groups, etc.)
teacher of visual arts education in lower and upper secondary schools (upon completion of the teaching specialization),
originator managing projects in culture,
independent visual artist, organiser of artistic work.
A graduate is prepared to undertake the third level course of studies.
