Students cover the theoretical and practical topics as follows:
1. revision of the stance of the academic writer - the rhetorics and language mechanics - levels of formality, impersonal narration, complex sentence structures
2. BA text organization - working within the template BA/MA required in this Institute, students prepare outlays of the final draft which are systematically revised in class
3. APA style - discussion of problematic instances
4. synthesising - based on the material prepared by the teacher students exercise writing a synthesis; furhter, they prepare their own syntheses based on reference sources they have been collecting throughout the course

Assessment criteria
1. 20% - attendance and participation
2. 40 % - research paper: layout, contens; introduction and one chapter
3. 40 % - synthesis in the written/ printed version
