M.A. degree full-time, 2 years Language: Polish | Opis ogólnyInformacje ogólne Celem kształcenia na studiach II stopnia na kierunku fizjoterapia jest wykształcenie i przygotowanie zawodowe przyszłych absolwentów do samodzielnej pracy z osobami chorymi i niepełnosprawnymi w zakresie stosowania czynników naturalnych (fizykalnych) w profilaktyce i w celach leczniczych oraz uprawnienia do podjęcia specjalizacji z zakresu fizjoterapii i do podjęcia studiów trzeciego stopnia (doktoranckich). Czego uczy sięna kierunku fizjoterapia Absolwenci studiów II stopnia kierunku fizjoterapia będą: - przygotowani do pełnienia profesjonalnej i całościowej opieki rehabilitacyjnej.
- Uzyskają wiedzę niezbędną do kierowania zespołami terapeutycznymi oraz do organizacji i zarządzania placówkami prowadzącymi działalność fizjoterapeutyczną, szkolenia zawodowego w zakresie podstawowych procedur fizjoterapeutycznych i nauczania przedmiotów zawodowych. siągną umiejętność planowania, przeprowadzania i kontrolowania efektywności procesu fizjoterapii.
- Nabycie powyższych umiejętności jest możliwe między innymi dzięki odpowiedniej ilości zajęć teoretycznych i praktycznych z zakresu metod specjalnych, medycyny fizykalnej, diagnostyki funkcjonalnej i programowania rehabilitacji.
- Absolwenci powinni uzyskać wiadomości i umiejętności niezbędne do wykonywania badań z zakresu diagnostyki funkcjonalnej i prowadzenia badań naukowych.

Professional status:
The graduate of the second-cycle studies has education and professional preparation for independent work with sick and disabled people in the scope of application of natural (physical) factors, special methods, functional diagnosis and rehabilitation programming in prevention and for therapeutic purposes, and is entitled to take up the specialisation in physiotherapy and third-cycle (doctoral) studies.
The graduate shall be able to plan, conduct and control the effectiveness of physiotherapy process in different disorders.
He/she obtains basic knowledge necessary to manage therapeutic teams and to organise and manage establishments which conduct physiotherapy activities, train in basic physiotherapy procedures and teach vocational courses.
The graduate is prepared to work in health care institutions (specialist clinics, hospitals, childbirth schools, rehabilitation centres, health centres), centres for the disabled, sanatoriums and leisure centres, supported employment establishments and occupational therapy workshops, biological regeneration parlours, sports and recreation establishments (sports and recreation clubs, gyms, fitness clubs, swimming pools), centres providing corrective gymnastics for children and young people (schools, kindergartens), scientific and research institutions of state and local administration.
The graduate has achieved all the required learning outcomes in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences, which were set out in the programme of studies of the second cycle programme in physiotherapy and introduced by the Resolution of the Senate of the State Medical School (PMWSZ) in Opole No. 311/2014. The graduate studied in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 27 September 2018 on the studies (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1861). In order to graduate the student needs to obtain passes in all courses and examinations and credits provided for in the programme of studies, as well as obtain the required number of ECTS points. The graduate must write his/her diploma paper during the last semester and then defend it with a positive result at the diploma examination. The diploma examination consists of two parts: presentation of the MA thesis and theoretical examination conducted in an oral form. The final overall grade is the sum of: ½ of the arithmetic mean of the grades entered in the student's transcript of records, ¼ of the grade of the thesis, ¼ of the grade of the diploma examination.
The graduate completed internships during the studies in specialist health care institutions, i.e.: teaching hospitals, specialist clinics, social care homes, sanatoriums, care and treatment institutions, biological regeneration institutions, rehabilitation and treatment institutions. The internship was carried out in the amount of 500 hours.
