Course objectives
The aim of the course is to improve students’ language fluency (according to the criteria suggested by CEFR for languages) in terms of raising their level of understanding reading and listening texts at C1 level. The course supports students in their preparation for their self-study 3 exam in reading and listening comprehenstion/

Course content:
Listening comprehension: understanding of informative monologues, conversation held by two or three people, short abrupt subjects presenting one matter.
Reading comprehension: different forms of texts on the basis from which a
student has to find out or match particular elements of information.

individual work, pair and group work, activities training reading and listening skills, ICT tools/MSteams

Forms of evaluation of learning outcomes
1. active participation during classes and preparation - 40% of the final grade (outcome 1,2,3,4,5,6)
2. two tests (mid-term and end of term) - up to 60% of the final grade (outcome 2,3,4,6)
Pass at 60 % of the final grade
