Course objectives:
The main aim of the course is to give students a continuation in language development at C1 level regarding their grammar and writing skills.

- structure of closing paragraphs,
- descriptive essays,
- opinion essays,
- articles of English
- formal vs informal styles of writing
- creative writing activities in groups
- use of formal vs. informal style in writing,
- word formation: nouns and adjectives,
- word order: multiple adjectives,
- use of synonyms: nouns, adjectives, verbs,
- linking words,

writing tasks, grammar excercises, text analysis, individual work, pair work, class discussion, ICT tools/e-learning option if needed/MSTeams

Kryteria oceniania
Form of evaluation of learning outcomes:
Two in-class essays– 80% (outcomes: 1,2,3,4,5,6)
A record of class participation – 20% (outcomes: 2,3,5)
